“Secrets hide where shadows linger.”

Father Cyril Nouvel has mysteriously disappeared. Yet it is at his initiative that his brother, Gendarme Louis Nouvel, and his mentor, Abbé Gomis, find themselves gathered at the site of an abandoned old fort.
