Snuff Vol. 1

Snuff Volumen 1

“A twisted, humorous and shocking look at media sensationalism and black comedy.”

Sentenced to death for a series of heinous crimes, Alicia Malvar awaits her fate on death row. Before being executed in the electric chair, she receives an interview with journalist Aldo Fernández, an unscrupulous man seeking only the interview that will catapult him to fame. What begins as a solemn report transforms into a grotesque spectacle, where the murderer manipulates her interviewer and the media turns tragedy into entertainment. Filmed in less than ten hours with a 90s video camera, the film satirizes a morbid 90s television series, following a manipulative serial killer moments before her execution in the electric chair.
