University Avenue: One Street, a Thousand Dreams

Also known as University Avenue: One Street, 1000 Dreams, University Ave: One Street, 1000 Dreams

“Once defined by streetcars, nightclubs and car dealers, University is being transformed.”

Shaped by the vision of 19th century railroad pioneers, the street once known for its streetcars, nightclubs, car dealers and ballpark is being transformed today by a vibrant mix of immigrant-owned businesses and the new Green Line light rail that opened in June 2014.
