Everlasting Quijote

This documentary chronicles the creative process behind the ambitious artistic project «Viva Don Quijote», conceived and developed by the German-Russian artist Genia Chef. Originally inspired by a tribute to the illustrator Teodoro Miciano, the film offers an intimate look into Genia Chef's studio as he reinterprets Miguel de Cervantes’ universal literary masterpiece through a contemporary artistic lens. Rather than following a conventional biographical structure, the documentary explores the convergence of classic Spanish literature and modern plastic arts, capturing the philosophical depth, aesthetic challenges, and ongoing relevance of the iconic knight in today's visual culture.
