She ranked 45th in Asahi Geino's "2023 Active AV Actress SEXY General Election" announced in May 2023. On May 15th of the same year, upon turning 30 and wanting to try a new environment, she announced her transfer to LiStar Pro, an agency. With this change, she changed her stage name to Ayaka Yamagishi. When changing her name, she thought that the surname Yamagishi would have a strong image among people who were not fans, so she decided to keep Yamagishi in her new stage name. As for her given name, from the two options that were ultimately left, Ayaka and Ayame, she wanted to keep the character "hana" (flower) in her name, so Ayaka was chosen. And so, here new stage name was decided as Ayaka Yamagishi. In the FANZA Rental Floor Ranking for the week of October 23 of the same year, "Father-in-law, if you hold me that tightly... The days when a young wife indulges in creampie sex with her father-in-law with a strong libido. Yamagishi Aika" ranked first.
