Andreu Diport is a Barcelona-born composer and orchestrator based in Los Angeles. He began his musical training at one of Europe’s oldest boys’ choirs, and went on to pursue a career in film and concert music, earning a full-ride fellowship to study Screen Scoring at the USC Thornton School of Music. His film credits as composer include Sardinia (dir. Paul Kowalski, EP Patton Oswalt) and The Water Is Always Warm (dir. Morgan Krantz). He favors recording with live musicians whenever possible, for the humanity and expressiveness they bring to a score. Alongside his screen work, Diport writes for orchestra and choir. His music has been performed at venues including the Palau de la Música Catalana, and his arrangements for more than 600 singers, brass, and organ were performed at the Sagrada Família for Pope Leo XIV.
