Kristin Brown

On There Goes My Childhood, Kristin was a foundational member of the film’s all-female, four-person shooting crew. A Montreal-based Director of Photography, her cinematography credits include the feature documentary Rising Through the Fray, and the short documentary Dad Can Dance, featured on The New Yorker Documentary platform. Kristen has travelled across North America to film for documentaries including Gespe’gewa’gi: The Last Land, Animal Nation, and CBC’s The Nature of Things. On There Goes My Childhood, Kristen’s camera work beautifully frames the film’s intimate interviews and emotional reunions.
